Are you concerned about your child? Is your child struggling or are you struggling with your child?The Drawing Analysis System is designed to give you insight and understanding about why these difficulties are happening. You will learn about your child's thoughts and feelings and why they are happening. You will also receive recommendations for helping your child and yourself.
Analyzing drawings has long been an assessment tool in psychology. Now it is here to help you.
It is as simple as asking your child to draw you a tree and a sun and anything else they want in the picture. You need something to color with because the rest of the directions are, "color the sun and nothing else and take about ten minutes making the picture". Use an 8 1/2 by 11 inch piece of paper.
When the drawing is complete, come back to this site, log in and you will be able to use the computer program to create an analysis of what might be causing your struggles and what you can do about them.
It will take about 10 minutes for you to look at a series of tree pictures and sun pictures and choose which ones most closely reflect your child's drawing.
When finished, you will receive a written report which will consider more enduring personality characteristics of your child, what emotions and feelings might be causing the current difficulties and how school, home or socializing might be helping or contributing to the problem.
